An Annonymous VisitorAll attempts to identify this bird have failed. It is most likely a juvenile. Juvenile birds are notoriously hard to identify. My best guess is that it is in the Verio family.Jun 24, 2020

Golden Hour ViewsAs the sun began to get low the Eastern hills and valley between lighted up beautifully. The clouds were, as usual, amazing in the early sunset light.Jun 19, 2020

Lower Ryholite Trail bound for Heart of RocksThis trail wound up the Lower Ryholite Canyon of Chiricahua National Monument. These views predominated, especially on the uppper portion of the hike.Jun 04, 2020

Views in Chiricahua National Monument We hiked the Lower Rhyolite Canyon trail to the junction with the Sarah Deming trail, bound for the Heart of Rocks. We never made it that far, prudently saving enough energy for the return home to the ranger station. These views lined the trail we did hike though, and made the hike worthwhile.Jun 03, 2020

Northern Harrier hunting at Whitewater DrawFast moving bird, at about 50 yards, at the end of a day. By now the 200-500mm Zoom was pretty heavy. I had a tough time staying on this guy for decent shots. This was not good, but among the best nonetheless. Used a very close crop to lose an annoying post intruding on the frame to save the frame.Jun 02, 2020
