Another Tortured TreeThe trip to Ferrel-McWhirter Farm Park yielded some fun subjects in the trees and moss of the forest. For a small park it was pretty amazing. Another photo subject is visible in the left side background here, too.

Steamboat Rock at SunsetSteamboat Rock State Park is in the Dry Falls region of central Washington. We ranged out into the dirt roads of the park to be in this spot for sunset.

Dry Falls SunriseThe sun is just above the horizon at this early hour, and the landscape is infused with golden sunshine. It is very early (for me) to rise, but well worth it.
